2004 6 Hour Enduro at TWS

Here is a highlight from the 6 hour enduro at TWS in Nov '04. This was the first time for both drivers and for the entire crew to run an enduro. We qualified in wet conditions at 45th of 56 cars. The video camera lasted for about the first 1.5 hours. We had a good run at the beginning moving up to 10th after the first 25 laps and an excellent first pit stop. Afterwards we started having engine trouble that later was discovered to be from charging system problems. The engine would shut off by itself unexpectedly, that is what you will see happen at the very end of the highlight. We were able to keep going after the engine shut off by cycling the main power switch, but had to change the battery out later on. After around 3.5 hours, Steve reported the car was having trouble keeping in a straight line. Jeff jumped into the car and tore out of the pits, only to confirm what Steve had reported. By turn 3 of that lap, the left rear lower control arm broke sending us off course and out of the race. Never the less, we all had a blast! Big THANKS to all that helped out for this race.
